2MR is a training log for two people. This says what it stores, why, who else sees it, and how to make it stop.
What it holds
- Your email address. It is how you sign in. There is no password.
- What you lift. Exercises, weights, reps, how hard a set felt, and when.
- Who you train with. Who you train with, and who else is in that pairing.
If you use the Coach, which is the part of the app you talk to, it also holds:
- What you eat. Meals you log, their calories and macros, and foods you save.
- Body measurements you enter. Bodyweight, body fat, and waist.
- Details you give it for the energy estimate. Height, year of birth, and sex, all optional.
- Activity you enter. Step counts and minutes you type in or paste from a wearable. 2MR does not read Apple Health or Google Fit.
- Your conversation with it, and a short list of things you have told it about yourself, which you can read and delete in the app.
- Photographs of food you send it, and voice clips when you hold the microphone.
It has no advertising and no third party trackers. Nothing here is sold, and nothing is used to profile you or target advertising.
Who else sees it
2MR uses a small number of companies to run. They act on 2MR's instructions and are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes.
- Railway hosts the servers and the database. All of it lives here.
- Anthropic answers the Coach. What you say to it, the food and training figures it needs to answer, and any food photograph you send are passed to Anthropic for that reply. They are not used to train models.
- OpenAI handles the voice: a clip you record is transcribed, and a spoken reply is generated. Same terms.
- Resend sends the sign-in email. It receives your email address and nothing else.
- Expo delivers push notifications and app updates.
- Cloudflare stores media you share with your partner.
Food photographs and voice clips sent to the Coach are passed through for the answer and are not kept by 2MR afterwards.
Who can see your training
Only you, and the person you train with. You pair up by accepting a code from somebody, never automatically.
Sharing what you log is on by default once you pair up, and you can turn it off at any time, in the app, under what your partner can see. Turning it off stops the data being sent, not just displayed. Letting somebody watch your sets land live is off unless you turn it on.
Your Coach conversation, your food log and your measurements are yours alone. A partner never sees them.
Pairings do not see each other. One spotter learns nothing about another.
Deleting it
In the app: Partner → Delete my account. It deletes your account, your sessions, your sets, your food log, your measurements, your conversation with the Coach and everything it had noted about you, for good. It is not a flag on a row, and there is no undo.
A pairing you shared stays for the people still in it, and their own training is untouched. Anything you wrote into a shared pairing keeps its place in that conversation, attributed to a deleted account rather than to you.
You can also delete individual things without deleting the account: any meal, any session, and anything the Coach has noted about you.
Where it lives
On your device, and on servers run for 2MR in the United States, by the companies named above. Traffic is encrypted in transit. The sign in code is stored hashed and is single use.
Children
2MR is not intended for anyone under 13 and does not knowingly hold their data.
Not medical advice
2MR is a logbook, and the Coach is a training and food assistant inside it. Neither is a medical device and nothing in either is medical advice. It reads no medical records. Talk to a doctor about anything that matters.
The Coach can be wrong
The Coach uses a language model, so its wording can be wrong even when the numbers are not. Every figure it shows comes from what you logged rather than from the model, and you can correct any of them by hand.
